I replaced my Specialized The Captain with this WTB Bronson tire in hopes of getting better winter traction. I called WTB and they told me the non-UST version would work well tubeless on a Stans ZTR Crest rim. I was hoping this would be the case to save some weight. I mounted the tire last night with Stan's No Tubes Sealant. The tire immediately took a bite on the rim but I noticed bubbles of the sealant coming out all around the bead and through some holes in the tread. I left it overnight and it was nearly flat in the morning. Long story short, with some extra sealant and good rotation, I finally have a good seal on it.I rode it this morning after a good overnight rain. There were a good amount of puddles and muddy spots and this tire tracked super well (no drifting in mud like the Specialized tire would) and also cornered very well.
