This is a great product! It works well, and is by far the best stationary bike trainer I have ever used. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
The only issue I have is with the quality control on the machining of the parts. With the pro-resistance model, you receive an extra plate which gets attached by a bolt. When trying to assemble it, I found that both the threads in the equipment and on the bolt were poorly machined and did not screw in. I had to use a 6.0x1.0mm tap and die to re-thread the bolt and hole in order to get the bolt to thread. Typically, this is not the condition an average user would want his equipment to arrive. For an expensive piece of machinery, this is not they type of quality control I expected. The rest of the bolts and pieces were of good quality and the rest of the install went well, but it was a bit frustrating.
Anyway, great design! Fix the quality control and you have an excellent piece of equipment!

This trainer is just alright. I own both the kurt kinetic road machine and the Kurt Kinetic rock and roll pro. I bought the pro because i liked the road machine series so much. To start off the construction of both are very well done. Both units are quiet enough to ride in a small apartment. They both are great for training or working out. I ride mine all the time. Now down to the nitty gritty. The road machine is a far better bang for you buck. Small compact and easy to store, great for working out. Now the pro. The trainer wants to walk forward when riding and needs to be weighted down to prevent this. Also the screw that holds the weight on comes loose when riding. the only way to prevent this is to use a rubber washer and tighten the hell out of the screw and if your lucky it might not come loose. If I were to do it again I wouldn't buy the pro. I would probably just get the regular rock and roll.
