The first thing that I want to say about these levers is that the offset style of the lever blades makes them look awesome once installed. If you install them slightly tilted in (which provides better ergonmics for your wrists) the bottoms of the blades will stick out slightly beyond the drop of standard road bars.Now, the ergonomics. I'm about 6'2" and have what I feel are normal sized hands for my height. The hoods look small, but my hands wrap them perfectly. They feel a lot like the smaller tops of 5700 105 or 6700 Ultegra without the very wide bottom portion. The curves of the brake lever blade provide great positional to wrap a finger around and the rest underneath comfortably. The design of the release on these levers is pretty slick. There is a single push button for each lever on the inside that releases the lever to make it easier to disconnect your brakes or just provide more clearance around your wheels.
