Well, this light had the potential to be great.I was extremely excited to get this to replace my Petzl E87 P MYO RXP Headlamp. This headlamp is slightly lighter and CLAIMED a long battery life 40 hrs. on low, 6 hrs. on medium, and 3 hrs. on high. I was planning to use it for trail running in the early morning and then mount it on my bike to commute to work. It does have the ability to snap right off the headband and snap onto the bike mount. This seemed like a perfect product for that. However, upon receiving the light and fully charging it, I used it for a trail run that lasted about two hours and the light was nearly dead (mostly used on low setting and used on medium for about 15 minutes total). It's L&M and they don't make junk. The light feels like pretty solid metal but not heavy (this bed is just right). Plenty of mounting options (straight to the helmet, headband, hand flashlight, bike mount). Also, and this is pretty cool for bike riders, on the sides of the main beam are two little amber colored lights. Great for improving others' visibility of you without interfering your line of sight.
