These are admittedly my first pair of cycling shoes, but I purchased them after a great deal of research. Overall I found that while the ratchet-style cleats are probably a bit superior to all-velcro, they are also typically sold at a 30% premium that I wanted to avoid paying. Therefore I compared a lot of the all-velcro cleats, and almost bought a pair at a local bike store for $95. However I decided to order these and give them a shot, and was thrilled when they arrived. They are every bit as comforable as the more expensive pair from the bike store, and in my opinion more stylish. The photo really doesn't do it justice - these have a great mix of silver & white and the shoes really look great.I've already attached a pair of Shimano 105 cleats and they work great!
